How It Works
Store your bags in 3 minutes — safely, easily, and stress-free.
1. Select duration and locker size
On the yellow display screen, tap “Deposit” and choose how long you’ll store your bag, then select small, medium, or large locker.
2. Set your personal PIN code
Create a PIN and enter your mobile number. You’ll be assigned a numbered locker — make sure to remember your code.
3. Pay securely at the POS terminal
Complete your payment using the card reader. Once approved, your assigned locker will open automatically to store luggage.
4. Tap “Pickup” to retrieve your bag
When you’re ready to collect your luggage, go back to the yellow screen and press the “Pickup” button to begin the process.
5. Enter your PIN and phone number
Type in the same PIN and mobile number. Then choose “final” or “partial” pickup — your locker will pop open automatically.
6. Close the locker to finish...and go!
After taking your items, close the locker door. The collection process is only complete once the locker is securely shut.

Can I take luggage into the Colosseum?
No. The Colosseum does not allow large bags, suitcases, or backpacks larger than 40 × 30 cm inside. There is a small cloakroom at the entrance, but it fills up quickly and is not designed for suitcases. Storing your bags at our location three minutes away is the easiest solution.
How far is the luggage storage from the Colosseum?
About 250 metres — a three-minute walk. Head towards Via dei Fori Imperiali and turn onto Via Marco Aurelio. Our location is at number 18/b, on the ground floor.
Is the storage open on weekends and holidays?
Yes, we are open every single day of the year from 07:00 to 23:00, including Sundays, public holidays, and all major Italian bank holidays.
How much does it cost to store bags near the Colosseum?
Rates start from €3.90 per hour. We offer three locker sizes (small, medium, large) so you only pay for the space you need. There are no hidden fees, and a discounted 12-hour package is available for longer storage.
Is there luggage storage at Rome Termini near the Colosseum?
Termini station has its own storage service, but it is a 15-minute walk from the Colosseum area. If you plan to spend your time near the arena, the Forum, or Monti, our Colosseum location is far more convenient — and you will not need to go back to the station to collect your bags.
